GLOBAL CLIMATE IS CHANGING FAST AND THE FACTS ARE TERRIFYING

This isn’t just a race to ‘save the planet’… this is a race to ‘save the future of humanity’.

After filming inside the eye of hurricanes around the world; award-winning filmmaker, adventurer and presenter James Levelle, knows how deadly climate chaos can be.

Science tells us that we risk the collapse of human civilisation. How are we supposed to deal with that information? If governments are failing to act what chance do we have as individuals? And what about the kids? It’s their future at stake.

We all know that fossil fuels are a major part of the problem… but global emissions continue to rise.

Despite catastrophic storms, floods and fires governments around the world are not making changes fast enough.

Seeing their future in flames, the next generation are stepping up and taking action.  Many refuse to fly and choose public transport whenever possible.

But we need to be completely fossil fuel free and fast, because transport is a massive polluter and accounts for around a quarter of all CO2 emissions.

So what ‘zero-emission’ options do we actually have?

James is going to find out as he races from the UK, halfway across the world to Chile, to get to the UN COP25 Climate Conference.

Where he hopes to amplify the voices of the youth by delivering video messages from the young people he meets along the way to the UN Summit… if he can get there in time…

How to travel halfway across the world fossil fuel free? And what positive environmental impacts can we as individuals make locally?

More importantly, can children be the key to changing adult hearts and minds, end political indecision and inspire global climate action?
